Why Choose Us

The Morisse Difference

Local Expertise, Real Relationships

We know the Astoria soil, the coastal weather patterns, and the species that thrive here. Our clients aren't job numbers — they're neighbors we see at the grocery store.

Equipment That Matches the Job

From compact skidders for steep slopes to full-size harvesters for open stands, we maintain a diverse fleet so your property gets the right tool, not the closest one.

Safety Is Non-Negotiable

Every crew member is trained in current forestry safety standards. We've never had a lost-time incident, and we plan to keep it that way.

Your Land, Our Stewardship

We don't just cut and leave. Every operation includes erosion controls, residue management, and replanting guidance so your forest comes back stronger.

Trusted by Property Owners Across the Region

"Morisse Logging transformed our family property — what we thought was a complicated, messy operation turned into a clean, professional job that actually improved the health of our woods. We couldn't be happier."

— Property Owner, Clatsop County
